Manassas Mosque is a non-profit organization committed to serving the educational, religious, and social needs of the Muslim community in the larger Washington D.C. metro area. Founded in 1994, Manassas Mosque has prided itself on being a diverse, non-sectarian, open, and judgment-free house of worship (masjid) that serves a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, and multi-racial Muslim community. Its principles and activities are rooted in the teachings of the Holy Qurʾān and the example (sunna) of Prophet Muḥammad (ṣ), as transmitted and practiced by his family, the Ahl al-Bayt (ʿa). Manassas Mosque is committed to civic and civil engagement with other faith communities and society at large.
