Sheikh Muslim Mehdi Chawla is a scholar of religious sciences specializing in Islamic Philosophy and Theology. He spent over a decade studying at the Islamic seminary in Qom, where his research interests included Mysticism (Irfan), Ethics, Western Philosophy, Fiqh, and Comparative Religions. He holds multiple master’s degrees in philosophy, religion, and Arabic, as well as a master’s degree in Political Science. His thesis focused on Liberty in Islamic Political Philosophy and Liberalism. Sheikh Chawla has also attended Dars-e-Kharij (advanced seminary lectures) in Usool and Fiqh for several years.
